REVISITING MY ADOPTIVE HOME
Received a text message from my Baby.
" I wn a one way trip 2 kota kinabalu." Miko 12:47
He won a one-way ticket to Kota Kinabalu courtesy of Air Asia Airlines!!!!!!! Yehey! I was sooo happy for him. I texted back congratulating him. Before this message, he texted me that the airlines' one way ticket is as low as Php2,000. When I learned about this REALLY cheap price, I suggested we go on a vacation out of the country one of these days which of course he agreed to since we are both into travel and are adventurous to see other territories. Then 13:03 pm he called telling me to call him on his cellphone. I immediately complied knowing the good follower that I am, he! he! he!
He told me that he's giving what he won to me! He knows that I have a friend in Malaysia who he already met when she went here with his colleagues.He kept on telling me the other things I need to know like dates when I should avail the said ticket and all those pertinent stuff but my mind was racing and a lot of things were cooking inside my head .... that I'm going to go out of the country again,..... looking forward to that immigration stamp on my passport again, I'm excited to step on the ground of the first country I've been to (when was that by the way .... hmmm let me count ...... almost 8 years ago ). I was too excited, I immediately browsed the net for info about Malaysia and emailed Zona, my Malaysian friend as to which state they're living in right now since they bought a house of their own and moved last year. Luckily she replied immediately to my mail but I haven't told her about this upcoming trip yet.
Actually I was really planning to give her the ticket, I even told Miko about it. It was okay with him but he told me that it'll be more complicated if we'll let het use the ticket instead. I really would like to give her a plane ticket to Manila because she's the reason why I was able to fly to Malaysia more than 7 years ago. She sent me a two way ticket and I promised myself that I'll return the favor....SOON, very SOON....
So how do you think he got this free ticket? He attended a press conference of Air Asia and won in the trivia game and as they say... THE REST IS HISTORY!
After awhile I received another message......

So much has been said about my work and interests in this blog of mine but if I remember it right, none so far about my Baby. He's one generous, caring and thoughtful Baby of mine.Actually, I can enumerate a lot of adjectives to describe him but to some it all up, .............
HE MAY NOT HAVE A HUNK OF A BODY but HE sure does HAVE A BIG HEART..... and I'm GLAD I HAVE IT =P
