CHECK UP
My Mom came from the province for her check up, I picked her up early this afternoon from the bus terminal and I was relieved to find out that the swelling on her foot has subsided, apparently the swell is due to high uric acid. Her doctor told her that she's doing ok and that she just have to continue taking the medicines she had prescribed 2 weeks ago.
Her next tests will be done on November, I hope everything will be normal by then.
I get worried whenever a parent is not feeling well. I'm not used to seeing them sick or not feeling well. My parents are the hardworking type and they don't want to have idle time. However, since they are not really getting younger, I know at times they feel like doing something but their strength can't do it anymore due to their age.
I always say a prayer that they always be in their tip top shape. I want them to experience the life I want them to have - the comforts of living. And as of the moment, I'm still in the process of getting there. I just hope by the time I can already give the luxuries in life to them, they are still there to appreciate them.
With HOPE, PRAYER & FAITH nothing is impossible!
AMEN!
